The walk down
Leave by the terrace gate, follow the cliff road to the second bend, and take the stone steps. They are lit until one in the morning and steep enough that sensible shoes matter more than they should. Coming back up takes about fifteen minutes at an unhurried pace.
What we will tell you
Walking times, which kitchens still serve after eleven, whether a concert night will make the promenade busy, and where the taxi rank forms. We do not sell tickets, take commission, or recommend one venue over another for any reason except that a guest asked.
Getting back
The shuttle runs to the cliff road until 00:40. After that it is the steps or the rank at the harbour end. Tell the desk if you expect to be very late and somebody will make sure the terrace gate code still works.
Bring photographic identification if you plan to enter licensed floors in the bay. We cannot vouch anybody in, and door staff there are strict about it.
